Moved in here February 23. Couldn’t ask for a better apartment complex. Office and maintenance staff are very helpful and take their work very seriously. I’ve had to speak to them on many occasions for various issues not really relating to the property but something else. The appliances and the build quality of the units are excellent and everything is built solidly. The garage I added on is also very nice and can fit a large and wide car. Obviously, price is high for a small apartment, but I think it is priced accordingly for the quality of the unit and the area. I value the location because I don’t drive more than a minute to get to the area I work or the gym, and this is very important as time and money is saved in commuting. Avoiding unnecessary frustration is a good thing. Amenities are also excellent and there are many nice restaurants and shops around. The company that owns the complex is family owned, so they care about their properties and are not some mega corporation or REIT that could care less. Also not a slumlord. There is high demand for the complex. I don’t like the new speed bumps but whatever makes people happy I guess. I’ll just keep frustrating people by taking 30 seconds to drive over them.

I stayed with a friend for a couple of days in this community and I was SOOOO surprised with how beautiful and gorgeous this place is. It is also very peaceful and relaxing. I’ve been thinking about looking for a new place to live after I sell my house and I think this may just be the place. I also had the privilege to meet the staff in the front office one day and spoke with Jason. He was so nice and helpful when I had questions about joining the waitlist.

I moved into Sterling Lakes 3 days back. Would like to share my experience before leasing and at move in. Would like to share that I am new to the country so everything is just about new to me. 1. Before Leasing: I had got a call from Isabelle from the Leasing office about an apartment availability. I told her I am new to the country so I would have many more questions which may be very obvious to the locals. She answered all my questions patiently and was extremely respectful. I did not have a car so I requested her to do a virtual tour for me, which she did in less than 10 minutes. This was super fast response. She showed me the model apartment, every nook and corner of it. I was very happy with the way she did the tour, her responsiveness and patience. I requested her for an in person tour the same day as there is an extreme shortage of apartment availability. She scheduled one for me and she showed us around the property, the club house and every amenity available. She showed me the model apartment. The model is done up tastefully. She answered every single question about the apartment, neighborhood with utmost patience. She was very professional, she explained everything well but did not put any sort of pressure, which I had felt while touring some other apartments. My husband & I immediately decided to sign up for it. 2. During Lease agreement: The sign up process was smooth. Joey at the leasing office clarified all our doubts and helped us with the application process. The back ground check was swift and within 24 hours everything sailed through. There were several calls back and forth but everything handled professionally and with a smile by both Joey and Isabelle! Since our apartment was not ready till a few days (this was told to us before) we went back to see the model after 3 days as we wanted to take measurements for purchasing furniture. Isabelle came along with us and waited patiently as we took a closer look and the measurements. Good 45 minutes were spent but she never rushed us. 3. At Move In: Jason at the leasing office handed over the keys to apartment to us and asked us to fill the move in checklist and return in 48 hours. We requested him to come along with us to the apartment and help us with the checklist as many terms are new for us. I also requested him to explain how to use the kitchen appliances, best way to clean and so many other things. He answered everything patiently and spent nearly an hour with us at the apartment. The support from the leasing office folks is remarkable. 4. Post Move In: We signed up the checklist, and mentioned things which we felt need to be fixed/ replaced. Again discussed it in detail with Jason. He created work order for us immediately (Monday Evening) Everything handled professionally. Next morning Brian from maintenance came by. He was super fast – quickly replaced some handles, fixed a lock, took the net door and window which had small holes. In no time he was back with the fixed net door and window. Again he did everything professionally, in a timely manner and with a smile. His visit made us more than happy:) Thank you sterling lakes team. We are very happy to have made this choice! It has indeed been a awesome experience so far! Keep up the good work!

Moved in to Sterling Lakes in April after having a bad experience with another local apartment complex. This place is a dream compared to my previous apartment! Jason and the rest of the staff have been incredibly helpful and accommodating, and maintenance is amazing. There were a few touch points in the apartment upon moving in that needed maintenance (door handle, ice maker, etc), and each maintenance request that I submitted online in the morning would already be resolved by the time I came home for lunch SAME DAY. Front office is also fantastic at returning calls if they happen to miss them. An overall awesome experience!

We stayed at Sterling for a little over a year and had a great experience. Everyone was extremely helpful, from the leasing team to anything maintenance related. The maintenance team went above and beyond to help with anything we needed, including hang up our ceiling fans and making sure our washer and dryer were installed correctly. Definitely check out Sterling if you are looking for an apartment in the Mason area.
